| In 1997
McMullen &
Wing contracted
with Garlington
Landeweer
of Stuart
Florida to
increase the
size range
of their Sportfish
yachts, building
in New Zealand
and shipping
back to the
USA. With
bigger building
capabilities
than Garlington
Landeweer,
who presently
build vessels
of this style
up to 61ft,
McMullen &
Wing is taking
on the upper
end of the
scale in this
range fishing
machines,
initially
with an 80ft
vessel, and
now a 72ft
model, both
in composite
materials.
Both the open
and enclosed
flybridge
models sport
game fishing
'tuna towers'
- an essential
accessory
for an elite
fishing vessel. |
